Children’s Savings Account

Children’s Savings Account is a bank account specially designed to teach kids the habit of saving from an early age. Parents or guardians can open the account on behalf of the child, allowing them to learn money management safely

Terms and Conditions

  • For customers under 18 years old:
  • A checkbook cannot be issued for the savings account.
  • Minimum account opening balance: 100 Jordanian Dinars or 200 US Dollars. The account is subject to a low-balance fee of 1 JOD per month.
  • The account will be frozen after two years of no withdrawal or deposit activity. The dormant account fee is 2 JOD per month, with a maximum of 6 JOD across all customer accounts.

Required Documents

  • (Civil ID, Appointment Certificate for military personnel, valid residency permit from the country of residence for non-residents, passport and proof of residence for non-Jordanians, birth certificate for minors, special ID card for children from Gaza Strip, special ID card for the Syrian community, identification card for children of Jordanian women).
  • Proof of Income:
    (Employment contract, salary certificate, work permit, registration certificate, or proof of income).
  • Family Book for the Guardian
  • Court Order:
    (Approved and certified by the Legal Department, in case of guardianship).
