Savings Account provides a secure and flexible way to save money, offering benefits such as deposits and withdrawals, accounts in JD and USD, ATM card access, free SMS alerts, and quarterly profit payments according to the specified conditions

Terms and Conditions

  • A checkbook cannot be issued for the savings account.

  • The minimum account opening balance is JOD 100 or USD 200. The account is subject to a low balance fee of JOD 1 per month.

  • The account will be frozen after two years of inactivity (no deposits or withdrawals), and a dormant account fee of JOD 2 per month applies, capped at a maximum of JOD 6 across all customer accounts.

Required Documents

  • A valid proof of identity, such as: Civil Status ID, Military Appointment Certificate (for military personnel), valid residency permit from the country of residence for non-residents, passport and proof of residence for non-Jordanians, birth certificate for the minor, special card for children of the Gaza Strip, special card for the Syrian community, or identification card for children of Jordanian mothers.

  • Proof of income, such as: employment contract, salary certificate, work permit, registration certificate, or other proof of income.

  • Proof of residence, such as: electricity or water bill (for non-resident and non-Jordanian customers).
